School of Advanced Technologies and Innovative Engineering
The School of Advanced Technologies and Innovative Engineering was established as a small department under the title ‘Mathematics and Computer Technologies’ in 1991.
The mission of the school is to empower students with the knowledge and necessary skills to operate in advanced technology and innovative engineering fields. To this end, we have established laboratories for Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Polygraphs and Computers. The faculty also has a modern computer and internet centre as well as a scientific library. The staff at the school consists of academics, professors, highly qualified educators, as well as experts from various technologically advanced countries.
Classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and labs with mechanical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, electronics laboratories, and printing and computer laboratories for training high-level specialists. The school has an extensive library in Azerbaijani, English, Russian and other languages.
The School of Advanced Technologies and Innovative Engineering has the following laboratories:
- Laboratory of Advanced Technologies and Innovative Engineering
- Environmental Chemistry and Monitoring Laboratory
- General Chemistry Laboratory
- Analytical and Physical Chemistry Laboratory
- Organic Chemistry Laboratory
- Electrical and Electronic Circuits Laboratory
- Automatic Control Laboratory
- Laboratory of Advanced Recovery Technologies
- Material Resistance Laboratory
- Mechanical Laboratory
- Geomatics Laboratory
- Physics Laboratory
Students of all specialties receive high-quality educational training. Students benefit from modern laboratories, combined with opportunities to work with the most renowned companies in the US and Europe. To improve practical experience, students can train in their specialisation in local and foreign companies and are involved in international and government agencies’ projects.
