Lecture organised by a Turkish professor
An online lecture on "Molecular-genetic diagnosis of hereditary diseases" by Ercan Kurar, Professor of Meram Medical Faculty, Najmeddin Erbakan University, Turkey, was held for students majoring in Biology at the School of High Technologies and Innovative Engineering of Western Caspian University.
The professor gave detailed information about single gene diseases, chromosomal diseases, multifactorial diseases and methods of their molecular-genetic diagnosis. A question-and answer session followed for students.
